Shannon Sims spent 13 years as the trusted face of Milwaukee evenings, anchoring the news on TMJ4. During her tenure, she led award-winning coverage of some of the city's most defining moments, co-produced six statewide political debates, and sat down with some of the world's most compelling voices — from Olympian Simone Biles and thought leader Stacey Abrams to actors Lorenz Tate and Ice Cube and comedian Janelle James — earning an Emmy, a NABJ Salute to Excellence award, WBA recognition and Milwaukee Press Club honors along the way.

Today, Shannon channels that storytelling power as founder of Mic'd and Ready Media, a boutique communications consulting group helping individuals and organizations find their voice and own their narrative. She is also the creator and host of Rising Forward: Stories of Change, a podcast celebrating social entrepreneurs in the region, distributed in partnership with WUWM 89.7 FM.
